Otter Tarn lodges are six exquisite architect-designed 5 star Lakeland retreats, each with its own private Hot Tub. The location is stunning, the lodges being set beside a 14 acre tarn on a private 500 acre estate in the glorious South Lake District.

 Windermere lake is just a ten minute drive from your luxury lodge and, despite the tranquility of Otter Tarn, there are numerous Lake District inns and attractions within a short drive. Within 10 minutes are Lakeside landings for Windermere Lake Cruises, the newly revamped Lakeland Motor Museum and the charming steam-powered Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. L’Enclume, Simon Rogan’s iconic restaurant, is 10 minutes drive to the south in Cartmel village. 

No expense has been spared in the spacious and contemporary Otter Tarn lodges. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the jewel like tarn or verdant woodland, underfloor heating, stylish woodburners, sumptuous leather sofas and designer kitchens and bathrooms. The three ensuite bedrooms in each lodge, with walk in monsoon showers and luxury bedding, are two kings and one twin. Smart TVs are in each bedroom and the living room, the latter being a generous 60 inches. 

Outside your exclusive lodge at Otter Tarn is a large private patio with comfortable rattan furniture for alfresco dining and a BBQ . Set a little aside is your own private and secluded Lake District Hot Tub. Perfection!

Situated just a ten minute drive from Windermere Lake and the coast, Neddy Cut Lodge is a great base camp for families or groups to who wish to explore the South Lakes and the surrounding area. Relax after a long day of hiking or watersports in front of the wood burning stove in the luxurious open plan living area.  Or spend your evenings chilling out in your own private Hot Tub listening to the birds around Otter Tarn.

Your luxury Hot Tub lodge at Otter Tarn is the perfect place to relax for groups or families who wish to stay in luxury while being ideally located to explore the Lake District and everything that it has to offer. This gorgeous five star lodge has been beautifully crafted and stylishly designed and has plenty of room for six. The communal area of the lodge is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area complete with a 60″ smart TV and wood burner. Through the hall are three luxurious and spacious ensuite bedrooms with walk in monsoon showers.
