Two beautiful, contemporary Caldbeck lodges idyllically located in some of the most awe inspiring landscape of the Lake District National Park. The wide panorama of the Caldbeck Valley is backdropped by the dramatic wild beauty of the Northern Fells and on clear nights the dark-sky is ablaze with stars. With just two lodges here on the edge of a working sheep farm, sympathetically distanced, tranquility is assured and the views are just spectacular.

The pretty village of Caldbeck is just 2 miles away, a 5 minute drive or an appetite enhancing riverside walk.  Here you will find The Oddfellows Arms, a pet friendly, real ale Lakeland Inn with a restaurant serving an extensive and delicious menu. There’s also a well stocked village shop, tearooms, post office and small filling station. Just another 4 minutes drive away is Hesket Newmarket village, with its well regarded Old Crown Inn, also worth a visit.
 
Popular and bustling Keswick, the main tourism centre of the North Lakes, is a 25 minute drive away through stunning countryside. Here are all the tourist amenities and outdoor activities you could wish for. The famous Keswick Market is held on Saturdays and Thursdays and is vibrant and thriving. 
 
The Caldbeck lodges are pet friendly and sleep up to four people each, in two bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. Stylish woodburners keep the lodges cosy on cooler evenings and the bathrooms also have underfloor heating.  The well equipped kitchens include a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside the spacious decks are set up for alfresco dining and each lodge has a BBQ.

Surrounded by awe inspiring countryside this Caldbeck lodge takes advantage of the spectacular views. Wall to wall windows at the end of the living room look across the Caldbeck valley to the Northern Fells. The lodge boasts a contemporary open plan living, dining and kitchen with log burner and two comfortable bedrooms on with an en suite. Relax outside on the decked area and watch the sunsets and the lambs in the fields.

Situated on a working sheep farm in the breathtaking Caldbeck valley, The Hare Lodge boasts stunning views of the fells and many walks and hikes stretch out straight from your door, making this Caldbeck lodge the perfect destination for the adventurous. Inside you will find a modern interior with two comfortable bedrooms and an open plan living,dining and kitchen area complete with a warming wood burner to curl up in front of on the colder evenings. This lodge is happy to welcome a well behaved dog to join your getaway.
