The Pastures Holiday Lodges
The Pastures lodges are set in a small and exclusive holiday park, just outside Allithwaite village on the edge of the South Lakes, in 26 acres of woodland and pasture. It’s a tranquil and relaxing setting, with deer frequently seen visiting, and with the excellent Pheasant Inn just one mile away.
We have six beautiful and private lodges at The Pastures for you to choose from, sleeping two or four. Most of the lodges have Hot Tubs on their spacious decks and some are pet friendly.
Less than one mile to the north of The Pastures lodges is the pretty, historic village of Cartmel, famous for its C12th Priory, the small national hunt racecourse, the Michelin starred L’Enclume restaurant and, of course, Cartmel sticky toffee pudding. All the attractions of the southern Lake District are within a short drive of your holiday lodge, including Windermere lake, the Grizedale Forest park and the bustling tourist resort of Bowness-on-Windermere. Or head east, and less than 3 miles away on the coast is the quiet Edwardian seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands.

A beautiful, contemporary lodge situated in a quiet corner of The Pastures, and the perfect romantic getaway for two. Stylishly presented and extremely well equipped with all mod cons including dishwasher, Smart TV with FreeSat and Netflix. The open plan living area is built around a gorgeous wood burning stove, perfect for relaxing by in the evenings. Large patio doors lead out to a furnished deck with gas BBQ and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Off road parking for 1 car. Unsuitable for children, including infants.

Another charming, contemporary lodge for two. Its peaceful location is at the top of the exclusive Pastures lodge park in a slightly elevated position, offering extra outdoor space and privacy. Key features include a cosy wood burning stove, huge TV with FreeSat and the Hot Tub to the side of the furnished deck. Very well equipped including washer/dryer, fridge freezer and wine chiller. Off road parking for 1 car. Unsuitable for children, including infants.

Shepherds Lodge | Sleeps 2 | No Pets | Hot Tub
An immaculately presented spacious lodge at the top of the exclusive Pastures lodge park and an idyllic retreat for couples. Spend your days out walking and playing in the Lake District and your evenings curled up by the wood burner in its charming living area or taking a soak under the stars in your own private hot tub. Extremely well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, wine chiller etc, you’ll feel it’s home from home. Off road parking for 1 car. Unsuitable for children, including infants.

Cartmel Lodge | Sleeps 4 | Pet-friendly | Hot Tub
This lovely timber clad pet friendly lodge on The Pastures is the perfect place to unwind with family or friends. Relax in the hot tub on its own private balcony and maybe rustle up dinner on the outdoor gas BBQ in the evening. The impressive large open plan contemporary living area has trifold doors opening onto the deck and is complete with its own wood burner, perfect for curling up by after a long day enjoying the Lake District.
