Egg Dump at the Mason’s Arms

Egg Dump is an old and traditional Easter game.

The rule of the game is simple. One holds a hard-boiled egg and taps the egg of another participant with one’s own egg, intending to break the other’s, without breaking one’s own.

The game is played between pairs of competitors who repeatedly knock the pointed ends of their eggs together until one of the eggs cracks. The overall winner is the one whose egg succeeds in breaking the greatest number of other eggs.

Prizes for winner and runner up.

Family and pet friendly. Beer Garden. The Mason’s Arms is a very friendly, traditional, Real Ale village pub.

Entry £1. Proceeds donated to Air Ambulance Cumbria.

Venue: The Mason’s Arm, Gilcrux, CA7 2QX

Booking not required. Just turn up and join in the Eggstravaganza.
