Abbey Farm Guest House is situated in the beautiful rolling north Cumbria countryside, near the ancient Lanercost Priory. It provides dog-friendly, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in double and twin bedded rooms.

The rooms are ensuite with extra large showers. Both the private parking and the WiFi are free at this charming Brampton B&B. Abbey Farm Guest House reopened under new management on the 1st May 2024

The attractive sandstone farmhouse is approached by a sweeping gravel drive and inside there is a gracious sitting room with a newly installed woodburning stove (which replaces the old open fire). A perfect place to relax after an enjoyable day out in the Borders or the Northern Lakes. The ensuite bedrooms are beautifully appointed with a tasteful contemporary touch and period character features.

Abbey Farm Guest House is located just 500 m from the Hadrian’s Wall path, just 25 minutes from the historic border city of Carlisle and all the attractions of the main tourist centre, Keswick, and the north lakes are less than an hour’s scenic drive away.

The accommodation rate is £130 for a twin or a double, £115 if you’re a single traveller. These rates include a full cooked breakfast.
