Sally’s Cottages is an award-winning, holiday cottage letting agency in Keswick. Started by Sally Fielding with just one sublet holiday cottage in Eskdale and £1,000 in the bank, we now have over 500 cottages across the Lake District and Cumbria. We pride ourselves on offering a personal service to our guests whilst ensuring the highest standards in our cottages.
When you are booking your holiday, we know what’s important:
- We want it to be as easy and quick as possible for you to find and book your ideal cottage.
- We pride ourselves on our friendly, personal service and our team is always approachable for any form of help or advice. Our office is open from 8.30am to 9pm, 7 days a week, and our Windermere office mon-fri, 9am-5pm, to ensure we are there to help you when you need us.
- Our local team has an extensive knowledge of the cottages we let and the Lake District as an area, so can offer valuable and personal advice for your stay.
- We understand that you may want to bring your pet on holiday with you and we have over 300 pet friendly holiday cottages in the Lake District.
Sally’s Cottages has received local and national recognition for excellence with prestigious awards including the Forward Ladies Awards, the British Travel Awards, and the Cumbrian Family Business Awards.
In 2021, Sally’s Cottages was bought by The Travel Chapter, known nationally for its flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk. The company brought additional support and maintains the same ethos of friendliness, community, and excellent customer service.
Sally’s Cottages continues to be run by a core team based in Keswick and Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, and we also have a team of over 100 self-employed local workers including cleaners and handymen. We support a number of local community groups and events including the annual Keswick Film Festival.
