Wildlife & Nature Photography Workshop

This is an exciting opportunity to learn some invaluable tips for photographing our native flora and fauna in its natural habitat – on a real nature reserve!

The workshop will start with a discussion of camera settings & technique (including ‘tracking’ and observation skills) in the Study Centre building at the JSCF Hay Bridge private nature reserve near Bouth.

After practicing in and around the study centre in the morning, we will venture out into the reserve after lunch to put theory into practice, before returning to the study centre for review and feedback of your images.

*Please note* This is a completely unspoilt natural reserve with no surfaced paths (and no guarantee of seeing any particular species). Lenses of at least 200mm focal length are recommended for wildlife, but there is plenty of interesting flora to photograph if you don’t currently have one.

Location: Hay Bridge Nature Reserve, Low Hay Bridge, Bouth, Ulverston LA12 8JG
