Wag this Way 2018
‘Wag this Way’ is CFM Cash for Kids brand new dog walking event taking place in Maryport on Sunday 15th April.
The event begins just off Marina Road at 10:30am, where participants will walk together with their pooches along a 2.2mile route. The route covers coastal paths, grassy tracks and stunning sights of the lighthouse and working marina. Aimed at all dog walking abilities, the event encourages people to keep active, explore new walks and enjoy time spent meeting other like-minded pet owners. The importance of socialising dogs is also key, and can lead to happier and friendly pooches.
Wag this Way will also have a very special attendance from The Lakes popular Springer Spaniel duo Max and Paddy! Known to their 69,000 Facebook followers across the world for their adventures in the Lake District and ‘flapometer’ videos. All dog participants will receive a doggy bag of treats and a Certificate of achievement. There will be other entertainment on the day too!
Entry for the event costs a small donation to Cash for Kids of £3 and doggies are encouraged to seek further sponsorship from their pet pals, family and owners friends. All monies raised at the event goes to Cash for Kids, which in turn, is put back in to the local community through their granting system. Cash for Kids supports the 1 in 4 children living in Cumbria and South West Scotland who are disabled, disadvantaged or need additional support, and one hundred percent of donations stays local.
