Ulverston Dickensian Festival 2022
We’re delighted that our 2022 Christmas festival will be going ahead in the full undiluted traditional Ulverston Dickensian Festival style.
There will be multiple performance stages, roving street performers, hot mulled wine, a town-full of wonderful stalls, and costume parades through the historic town streets.
Performers for 2022 include town bands from Ulverston, Dalton and Kirkby Lonsdale, singers, magicians, fire eaters, jugglers, stilt walkers, and a whole lot more. All of the entertainment is provided absolutely free of charge.
In addition there will be fairground rides (which you have to pay for), and of course you’ll want to visit Ulverston’s traditional and specialist local shops, cafes and pubs.
Come along and get into the Christmas spirit. Dress up if you want to, and enjoy the amazing friendly atmosphere.
Founded in 2000 the festival has grown in size and duration over the past 21 years and has established itself as one of the busiest and most popular Dickensian festivals in the country.
Ulverston is a beautiful historic market town with cobbled streets situated in a spectacular location on the edge of the Lake District.
