Outdoor Theatre: The Wind in the Willows
Outdoor theatre will be returning to Brantwood this summer with a performance of The Wind in the Willows by Illyria on the 19th August in their lakeside meadow.
Kenneth Grahame’s perennial classic is brought to the stage in Illyria’s inimitable style. Mole yearns for adventure, Rat adores boats and Badger likes peace and quiet. Into their lives bursts Toad who loves very fast cars and just can’t seem to help getting into trouble. But can the animals reform Toad’s character and evict the squatters from his ancestral home to restore justice to the world?
To ensure safety the performance will be slightly shorter at 1 hour with no interval. Tickets for the show must be booked in advance and cost £12 for adults and £8 for children (3 years – 16 years). Under 3s free.
Gates open at 5.30pm with the performance starting at 6.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased from the Illyria website www.illyria.co.uk or by calling Brantwood on 015394 41396 or email [email protected]
Bring your own seating & snacks. Toilets are open but limited. Free Parking.
Location: Brantwood, Coniston, LA21 8AD
