Swindale Valley Wildlife Adventure
Explore the new journey of a river in the heart of beautiful, secluded Swindale Valley.
This RSPB Guided guided exploration of Swindale Valley will introduce you to the wildlife and habitats benefitting from the newly restored Swindale Beck. From Salmon to Dippers, Red Deer and Dragonflies, you will explore woodlands and meadows, surrounded by dramatic crags, in search of the valley’s wild inhabitants as we follow the river upstream toward Hobgrumble Gill, stopping for a break at beautiful Swindale Falls.
You will also discover tales of folklore of the animals, plants and landscapes of the area, as you adventure through one of the Lake District’s most beautiful, secluded valleys under the expertise of your RSPB Guide.
