Something to Say Family Workshops
Running across the summer holidays there are creative workshops for families taking place at Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house. Please check dates & times below and via the workshop links provided.
There’s a chance to try letterpress printing, develop mending and sustainability skills and make climate protest zines.
Some events are bookable and some are drop-in. Part of the ‘Something to Say’ series of creative activities for children, young people and families at Lakeland Arts.
Vega Brannan shows you how to use old fashioned letterpress printing to make modern day protest signs. Suitable for ages 7

CLIMart Stitch sessions
Get creative exploring issues affecting our climate and be part of a creative protest this summer

MENDING sessions (MEND on the move)
Try your hand at visible mending, good old-fashioned darning, Sashiko and Boro inspired embroidery and patching with our MEND maker Amy.
Every Thursday from 4 Aug-1 Sept: 12-4pm
