Rasta Liv is a biographical look at the life of a man committed to the future well-being of his family, his community and the continent he called home, Africa.
The story follows Ellis Hercules’ journey from 1957 St Kitts to 2013 Ethiopia, via Leeds and Manchester in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Interviews with friends and family and a rich archive of letters, photographs, and other ephemera are uncovered through physical performance, video projection and a live performance of a newly composed soundtrack.
Manchester-based acclaimed writer and performer Marcus Hercules returns to PUSH following his 2016 show Prison Game.
NB- Show finishing times are only an estimate.
