Outdoor Activity Sessions
We’re delighted to announce that you can now book any of our activities for dates after Wednesday 1st July.
We cannot wait to welcome you all back to the Lake District and make incredible memories with you, however there will be some limitations on our activities and operations to ensure the safety of your party and our staff. On top of that we will be taking extra measures to limit the risk of spreading Coronavirus as well as other illnesses.
These will include:
• Booking is essential as places are limited on each activity.
• Maximum group sizes of 5, plus an instructor. (Current Regulations)
• Social distancing will be maintained at all times except in the case of an emergency.
• All of our equipment will be sanitised after being used on any activity.
• Mandatory hand washing stations and sanitising gel will be available
• All Staff will be provided with appropriate PPE for yours and their safety.

We want to welcome as many of you as possible back to the Keswick Climbing Wall and Newlands as we understand the last few months have been difficult for everyone however, we must stress that:
You must not attempt to enter either Activity Centre or participate in any of our activities if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID–19 or have been in the company of anyone showing symptoms or if you have been told to self-isolate.
During these hard times the tourism and hospitality industry have suffered greatly and unfortunately some of us have been not able to survive during this pandemic. Fortunately we as a company have manage to overcome the pitfalls of COVID 19, however due to this we must stress that our cancellation policy has not change and we would require a 48 hr notice of cancellation for a refund under any circumstance. We hope you all fully understand this.
We must also stress that due to Government Guidelines and as we type this message Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Air B&B’s as well as Holiday Cottages are unable to take any bookings for overnight stays and that includes ourselves so, unless you are staying on an open official campsite we must stress that you can only visit this incredible area for the day.
(Editor’s note: bookings are being taken for some self catering accommodation in the Lake District for stays as from the 4th of July 2020, however we are still waiting for government guidance as to whether these bookings will be able to go ahead)
We will have our fantastic Cafe open for hot and cold food and drinks (takeaway and spacious outdoor seating area available only), however if you wish to bring your own food with you that is also okay on the grounds that you must take your rubbish back with you! Let’s keep the beautiful Lake District looking beautiful!
As we have already stressed we want to welcome as many of you back as possible but always keeping safety first!
