The King’s Men Cambridge Spring Concert
Once again the Choral Scholars of King’s College, Cambridge, known as The King’s Men, have chosen to enjoy the warm welcome and splendid accoustic of St George’s, Kendal on their northern tour.
They will be singing a wide range of music from early sacred plainsong to contemporary soul and pop favourites.
Described in The Times as having a ‘luminous blend of voices’ they never fail to delight audiences young and old and will be accompanied on tour by King’s College Organ Scholar Donal McCann, treating himself to a few solo performances on St George’s famous 1883 Wilkinson organ, made at the Kendal Organ Works on Aynam Road.
Venue: St. George’s Church, Castle Street, Kendal LA9 7AS
Doors open at 6.45pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £12 available on the door or from firstname.lastname@example.org or 01539 734339. Proceeds to choir and church.
