Keswick Market
Keswick Market stands on Thursdays from February to December (and Saturdays all year round).
The market stretches from the top of the Market Square, above the Moot Hall, all the way down to below Bryson’s bakery, towards the corner of Bank Street. The whole area is pedestrianised.
Some 60 traders set up their stalls with food, spirits, clothes, shoes, tools, artworks, crafts and gifts, much of it locally produced.
Food stalls include fresh fish, locally produced meat, fresh vegetables, artisan bread and bakery products and a wide range of preserves and condiments.
There is also artisan hot food to take away, either to eat immediately or to take home for dinner.

Widely regarded as the best market in the Lake District, Keswick Market brings locals and visitors flocking to the town all year round. 2022 is the 746th year that the market has stood on Keswick‘s Market Square, the Royal Charter having been granted in 1276.
