Introduction to Urban Sketching Workshop
Suitable for beginners and those who wish to gain more confidence sketching in urban areas.
In the morning we’ll be using the environment of the Quaker Meeting House to make a series of simple sketchbook drawings, looking at seeing and observing, simple techniques to deal with complex scenes, finding a way with perspective, composition and page layout.
In the afternoon we’ll be bringing our sketches to life with watercolour, considering how to mix and apply colour. Come prepared to work outside, weather permitting!
Lynda is an experienced teacher who loves to share her enthusiasm for all aspects of urban sketching.
