Haweswater Badger Hide: Exclusive Use
From the comfort of our brand new Badger Hide based at Naddle Farm, you can enjoy watching and photographing the ‘Haweswater Badgers’ as they forage and socialise, allowing you the unique opportunity to observe these secretive mammals in Cumbria at close range.
Each Tuesday throughout April to October 2019 we will be offering our Badger Hide for exclusive use, perfect for wildlife photographers or small educational groups (maximum 6 people recommended). During these sessions, you will have the hide entirely to yourself, however for an extra cost you can book our RSPB Badger Guide to join you to share their expertise.
Seating is provided, as is the facility to make hot drinks to enjoy, including Clipper hot chocolate, tea and coffee.
Please look at our ‘Haweswater Badger Hide: Individual Bookings‘ option for guided Badger Watches.
You would have complete exclusive use of the Badger Hide between the hours of 6 – 11pm, however upon booking you will be contacted by staff at RSPB Haweswater to confirm your preferred arrival/ depature times.
You will be greeted upon arrival by a member of the Haweswater team and taken to the Badger Hide, where you will be introduced to the facilities available and given an brief introduction to the Haweswater Badgers. You will then be collected from the Hide at your preferred, pre-determined time and guided out.
