Ghyll Scrambling with West Lakes Adventure

Enjoy this “Wet and Wild” experience in one of the Lake District’s beautiful gorges as part of one of our open group activities!

Ghyll scrambling is an exhilarating and fun activity perfect for families or groups who want a challenge, making it one of our most popular activities!

You will make your way up a mountain stream whilst having so much fun along the way. This is a wet activity, so you can expect to be plunging into clear pools, swimming against flowing water, climbing up the side of waterfalls, exploring caves and sliding down water shoots along the way, location is in one of the most beautiful Western Lake District valleys, Wasdale.

Important Info before booking:
Minimum Age: 8 Years and must be over the height of 135cm.

A moderate level of fitness is required for this activity – The Ghyll can be a challenging environment, especially if we have had any rain fall.

Adult participation is required for any under 18’s taking part in this activity, if you are bringing along an under 18 and you are not the legal parent or guardian, please get in touch to arrange consent.

Price: £49.50

Venue: Wastwater. You will be sent specific directions with the activities location upon confirmation.

PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT meet you at the West Lakes Adventure base in Eskdale! All specialist equipment will be packed up and brought to you at the meeting point in the Wasdale Valley!
