Drawing Rural Animals in Mixed Media
Join us on a traditional Lakeland farm to develop the basic drawing skills you need to draw animals confidently and to observe animals in their natural environment.
The workshop will cover steps on how to draw animals using simple shapes and lines, the concept of gesture drawing combined with observation and basic animal anatomy.
You will have plenty of opportunities to observe, sketch and photograph animals on the farm and experiment with water- soluble brush pens.
Venue: Cowshed Creative, Browfoot Farm, Staveley, Nr. Kendal, Cumbria LA8 9JQ
Cost: £70 includes some great tuition, stunning views, a tasty 2 course lunch with home baked bread and cake, and refreshments throughout the day. We also like to finish the day with a cup of tea and another slice of cake!
The workshop takes place in a traditional converted Lakeland barn, with a stunning art studio and plenty of space to wander outside and enjoy the Lakeland landscape.
Staying over? Why not stay in one of our luxury glamping pods on the farm?
