It is with great pleasure that the National Trust will be welcoming one of the most iconic names in Folk and Acoustic music to Sticklebarn this summer; Dougie Maclean, Scotland’s finest songwriter internationally renowned for his legendary song ‘Caledonia’.
A unique, exclusive and intimate evening of music with Scotland’s pre-eminent singer-songwriter and a national musical treasure. Dougie Maclean has won two prestigious Tartan Clef Awards and a place in the Scottish Music Hall of Fame.
Lifetime Achievement Award from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and an OBE. This small, intimate concert is a one-off chance to immerse yourself in Dougie’s career-spanning repertoire and sit amongst an audience of just 100 people for a very special night.
