Crook and Weardale Choral Society present St Cuthbert’s Cantata composed by resident Cumbrian Adrian Self. It is a wonderful modern choral work relating the life of St Cuthbert from birth to beyond death. A mix of choir, piano, organ and soloists help evoke the environments of St Cuthbert’s life from sanctuary to the rough seas surrounding Lindisfarne. Crook and Weardale Choral Society are a visiting choir from County Durham and have sung at places such as Lanercost, Carlisle Cathedral, Lindisfarne and Durham Cathedral. All welcome.
