Breakfast Rut Strut
What better way to start the day than by enjoying one of autumn’s most incredible acoustic spectacles in the dramatic landscape of Haweswater.
We invite you to discover the unforgettable seasonal phenomenon of bellowing stags on our new RSPB guided Red Deer Rut Struts in Riggindale, Haweswater.
This seasonal behaviour is an infamous aspect of Red Deer courtship, or ‘rut’, and is a joy to watch and hear. Once we reach the viewing point of Riggindale, you will be able to enjoy the elaborate display with a delicious sweet pastry.
After watching the dramatic battle of Red Deer love and war, we will make our way back to Mardale Head car park, spotting wildlife as we walk.
You are welcome to bring your own scopes or binoculars, however there will also be the option to borrow this equipment.
Adult Tickets: £20
Adult Tickets (RSPB Members): £16
Under 18’s: £15
