Photographs by David Hall

David Hall has lived on the west coast side of the Lake District all his life. For the last few years or so he has made many walks – initially at low level, and usually around the Keswick or Ennerdale areas, photographing and documenting these for his own pleasure.
There are now very few places in the Lake District that he hasn’t been to, and after suggestions from friends, he decided to make his vast collection of pictures available as a website – www.davidhalllakedistrictwalks.co.uk.
You can access the walks by date, or by location, and each consists of a series of photos with descriptions, a map of the walk, with information about the length of the walk, its duration, amount of ascent, where to park, and other related walks. There is a section of ordnance survey maps for online navigating around the area.
