‘The Fellsman’ steam hauled excursion – 2013
The Fellsman at Dent – 14th Aug 2013
The Fellsman is a steam hauled charter train running from Lancaster to Preston and Hellifield, then over the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway, with a brief stop in Carlisle before returning along the same route. It runs every wednesday during July and August 2013.
The steam engines are chosen from the historic pool of engines based at Carnforth including: LMS Royal Scot 46115 ‘Scots Guardsman’ – LMS Jubilee 5690 ‘Leander’ – LMS Stanier Black Five 44932 – LMS Jubilee 45699 ‘Galatea’.
