The Coronation Hall is a magnificent 636 seat theatre, offering excellent extertainment from music to theatre and opera.
It is one of the principal buildings in Ulverston and has the largest capacity of any hall in the south Cumbria area.
Throughout the year it hosts literally hundreds of different events ranging from fully -fledged theatre productions, to coffee mornings, to business meetings, to wedding receptions.
The building is a traditional proscenium arched theatre, built at the beginning of the 20th Century to commemorate the Coronation of King George V.
It also houses the Tourist Information Centre.
Outside the Coronation Hall is a statue of Laurel and Hardy.
