There are many photographs on this website, taken by Matthew Emmott from South Lakeland. If you want original

Matthew lives in Kendal and has an intense interest in local history, especially in the South Lakes area.
His main photographic obsessions are the castles, tower houses, pele towers and fortified houses of Cumbria and
further a field. His visits to sites (not limited to castles etc) are documented in his blog,
Matthew's Castle Blog
which he updates whenever he can.
Matthew also contributes articles on a monthly basis to the Westmorland Gazette’s web site, and
contributes photos to a number of castle web sites as well.
