England’s largest lake, Windermere, and the popular small town of Ambleside are just a few minutes drive away. Elterwater and Loughrigg Tarn are within walking distance of and multiple fell walks start from your door. 

Prices shown are for seven days from low season to high season (excluding Christmas and New Year weeks). Short breaks are also available at both of these Ambleside lodges.

Situated in a secluded woodland area, Beck Head Tarn is the perfect destination for people looking for peace and tranquility. It is still within walking distance of the bustling town of Ambleside, with its many speciality shops, cafes and restaurants. This lovely Ambleside lodge  boasts a large deck overlooking the woodland and the views beyond.  It has a stylish open plan living, dining and kitchen area and two comfortable bedrooms. Beck Head Tarn is also happy to welcome two well behaved dogs to join in on you escape.
