With the stunning backdrop of Lake Windermere and the Lake District National Park, as well spectacular air displays and loads of free family activities, the Windermere Airshow 2011 was so much more than just an air show!
Here are some photos from the Windermere Airshow 2011, held on the weekend of 23th & 24th July.
Highlights included the Avro Vulcan XH558 (the only remaining flying Vulcan), the Red Arrows aerobatic display team, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with a Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster.
