'Langwathby Scarecrow Festival 2005'

Each year one July weekend - Langwathby village is transformed - as villagers compete to create the best scarecrow. A park and ride service is available which enables elderly and disabled people to see the spectacle too. Great fun for kids, and there are rides on the village green.
