A drinking fountain with a bronze figure was erected in 1896 in Harris Park by Canon Rawnsley in memory of Dorothy and William Wordsworth. It was the focus of a daffodil ceremony held on the poet's bicentenery in 1970.

Recently it was stolen, then recovered and placed near William's statue.
