Walton - St Mary's Church. Pic N3796.

St Mary's Church Walton is by Paley of Lancaster. An early work of his (1869), it has a NW tower with pyramid roof. The South lancets are tall, and the North aisle lancets small, so the roof runs from the nave ridge to the aisle eaves.

There are several stained glass windows, by various artists, with the East window by William Wailes dedicated to those interred in the Chancel.
