Plumbland - St Cuthbert's Church

Evidence of Vikings can be found at St Cuthbert's, Plumbland, where you can find part of a cross shaft, built into the church tower at first floor level. In the churchyard, south of the church, are two pieces of hogback tomb with tiled roof and knotwork on the ends. One was reworked in the 19th century.
