The Church of St.John The Evangelist is situated in the small hamlet of Netherhouses,Osmotherley. A very peaceful location and well worth a visit.
It was built in 1874 to a design by Paley and Austin, of slate and red sandstone.
The church is on the route of the long distance footpath 'The Cumbria Way'.
