Warwick Bridge - Toppin Castle

This grade II listed farmhouse imitates a tower house, but was built in the mid 19th century for for George Head. It is built of hammer dressed red sandstone with large quoins and has a battlemented parapet hiding the roof. The 4-storey square tower has a hexagonal 5-storey angle stair turret. There is a recessed carved panel of the coat of arms of the patron.
