Walking in The Lake District & Cumbria
There is no better way to experience the Lake District than walking. As the spiritual home of England’s walkers, here you can discover high mountains, moorland fells and valleys, as well as woodlands and streams.
Many people choose to go on a guided group walk while in the Lake District, to experience the landscape whilst in the company of a guide who knows the area and safety in the mountains. Previous experience needed depends on the difficulty of the walk you choose, but since we are all born walkers this really is the activity open to everyone.
