We’ll guide you on a short walk to the hidden gem of Cathedral Quarry – a disused slate mine very close to Coniston – Spend some time with us exploring the magnificent cavern and tunnels. For those of you that are interested in history, we‘re full of facts about the mining around Coniston! Scramble up and through the quarry then abseil the 45 metres back down. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
